Recipe of the Week
Shrimp with Asparagus
Ingredients: (serves 2 or 3): |
4 ounces of uncooked, cleaned shrimp
1 tsp corn starch
2 tbsp oil
3 quarter-sized slices of ginger
2 cloves of garlic, sliced
1 tsp cooking wine

6 to 8 stalks of fresh asparagus cut into slices
1/3 tsp salt
1/4 cup chicken soup
1 tbsp coconut juice
1 tsp corn starch with 1 tsp cold water, mixed

Directions:
(1) Put the shrimp in a bowl; mix with 1 tsp corn starch and a pinch of salt.
(2) Put the wok on high heat, then add oil.
(3) After the oil gets hot, add shrimp.
(4) After 1 minute or so, add ginger, garlic, and cooking wine. Stir.
(5) After 2 minutes, add asparagus, salt, soup, and coconut juice. Stir.
(6) After 3 to 4 minutes, add corn starch with water. Stir.
(7) Turn off heat; put the shrimp and asparagus on a plate. You're finished!
